Then combine all the ingredients to a smooth dough.
To bake Pizza correctly you have to follow a few important steps:
(this applies only for medium to thin crust pizza)
- Preheat your oven at 220 degrees for about 20-30 minutes
- Put pizza on the lower rack of your oven
- Bake pizza at 220 degrees for 10 minutes
- Then reduce the heat to 200 – 180 degrees & continue baking it for another 10 minutes
- Now the pizza depending on your oven will be ready in 5-10 minutes so keep watching it that the cheese doesn’t get too brown or the base doesn’t get burned
It is critical to know your oven well since the baking varies drastically depending on what oven you use. In a wood-fired oven for example the same pizza will only take 3 minutes to get fully cooked. And If you are using an oven with less heat you might want to cook the base of the pizza for 10-15 minutes before putting the toppings and the cheese on to prevent them from getting overcooked.
Convection Oven: Select the top & down heat option in a convection oven and place the pizza in it.
Regular oven: Use top and down heat. Your pizza will take a bit longer than in the convection oven maybe 10 minutes longer
